​​To participate in the festival "Leopolis Grand Prix" cars are accepted based on the following criteria:
  • To races (05/06) are allowed cars till 1982 model year with original body and engine.
  • Participation in retro cars exhibition, retro elegance competition (04/06) and parade allowed for cars till 1992 model year or exclusive.


Important: the admission of participating vehicles to participate in the festival is the responsibility of the Organizator!
Participant is obliged:
1. To register on the site - click here for registration form.
Within two weeks participant will receive registration confirmation or rejection.
2. To confirm the registration on 3rd of June till 15:00 (Lviv city, Park of Culture and Rest);
3. Participate in competition of elegancy and exhibition.
4. Leave car on the festival grounds until the end of the event (5th of June till 18:00).


PROVISIONS ON THE PROCEDURE FOR EVALUATION OF THE CREW IN THE ELEGANCE COMPETITION
1. General provisions
The Elegance Competition is an independent competition within the Leopolis Grand Prix festival and consists of alternate presentation of historical vehicles and crews on the podium (or a specially designated place) equipped with a place for judges (jury), video and photo-recording, sound and light (if necessary) equipment.
Organizator creates a separate judging team (jury) of at least 3 people to evaluate the historical vehicles. It is desirable to involve professional designers, fashion designers, PR specialists, historians of technology and clothing in the jury.


2. Elements of evaluation
2.1. The state of the historical vehicles
Only the appearance and aesthetic condition of the historical vehicles are subject to assessment.
Assessment is subjective

2.2. Presentation of ITZ
To be assessed:
2.2.1 completeness of the information provided by the crew about the submitted historical vehicles, its fullness of interesting facts from the history of this particular historical vehicles (pronounced by the crew or special presenter);
2.2.2. visual program of presentation of historical vehicles by crew (theatricality of action).
Evaluation is objective and subjective.

2.3. Crew clothing
Crew clothing, its conformity to the historical epoch in which the presented historical vehicles was issued is subject to an assessment.

3. Calculation of the results of the assessment of the vehicle

The results of the evaluation of the submitted historical vehicles are determined by the judging team (jury) by the method of discussion and voting under the minutes.
The maximum penalty for the competition is 40 penalty points with the following breakdown by evaluation elements:
The state of the historical vehicles - 15 points maximum
Presentation of historical vehicles - 10 points maximum
Crew clothing - 15 maximum.
It is allowed to break the penalty points to tenths.

The crew with the minimum number of penalty points is considered the best.
PROVISIONS ON THE PROCEDURE FOR EVALUATION OF A VEHICLE
1. Terms and definitions
Replacement parts - can be either parts of the period that were not installed on the original car brand (for example, original components produced by the supplier in the period), or copies of parts (such as copies of original parts installed on the car brand, or copies of original parts produced by the supplier in the period) .
Replacement parts with the original technical characteristics of the manufacturer can be used provided that they occupy the same volume and do not require changes to the fastening system.
There should be no performance or weight advantage when using all replacement parts.
Replacement materials are materials approved by Appendix K of the FIA ​​ISC for use in the manufacture of replica parts or replacement parts.

Modification change - change of body components, attachments of the power unit, chassis, electrical equipment, interior, not provided for in paragraph 2.2. - 2.6. of this Regulation.
Minor surface damage - deformation of the body surface up to 2 mm (height / depth) without damage to the paintwork, or minor damage to the paintwork area up to 2 cm square, or damage in the form of scratches up to 1 mm wide and up to 10 cm long.
Period - years of serial production by the manufacturer of this car model.
The silhouette is a contour of the car with the established body panels visible from any position.
Material type - indicates the same material, but not necessarily the same specification. For example, "aluminum" is aluminum in terms of metallurgy, but may be of a different quality and contain elements that are missing in the original part, with the exception of beryllium aluminum. Magnesium can be replaced by aluminum. Technical data on materials, guidelines for their use, repair and reconstruction by the methods listed in Annex II of Annex K to the FIA. This section can serve as a guide for selecting and properly applying alternative materials and technologies to be used when replacing and repairing components.
Chassis - an integral structure of the car, around which are assembled mechanical components and body, including any structural part of the said structure.


2. Elements of vehicle evaluation
2.1. Paintwork and livery.
The presence of bituminous stains and abrasive damage to the paintwork of the road sand is not punished.
Vehicles with the original factory paint coating that have survived from its period are considered undamaged if at least 90% of the coating is preserved (no rust protrusions and metal surfaces). For such vehicles, damage to the paintwork of more than the allowable 10% is penalized 0.1 penalty points for each subsequent% (more than 10) of the damaged area.
Up to 5% of minor damage to the body surface is allowed and no penalty seconds are accrued for them.
For each subsequent 1% of injuries, 0.1 penalty points are charged.
The use of paint and varnish, which was not used in the period (metallic, chameleon, etc.) is punishable by 3 penalty points.
In this context, the livery determines the vehicle by color and color scheme.
For any car model for which it is possible to prove historically that it had just such a liver, it is allowed to use this liver with the same colors and logos in the original sizes;
For each car for which it is possible to prove historically that it was recorded in the Period with a specific livery (for example Gulf Porsche, L&M Lola, JPS Lotus, etc.), it is allowed to continue wearing this livery, provided that the colors are the same and the original dimensions logos.
According to the rules above, participants must use their cars in the original livery.
According to the Legislation of Ukraine, the display of certain types of advertising (tobacco, alcohol ...) is prohibited, the participant's obligation to ensure compliance of the livery of his car with Ukrainian laws.
Violation of the Livery Period is punishable by 3 penalty points.
The maximum penalty is 10 penalty points.

2.2. Car body, silhouette.
The car body, its materials and silhouette must fully correspond to the original in the Period. Any discrepancy is penalized with 1 penalty point per unit.
Violation of the original silhouette or body more than 10% is not allowed.
Body tuning is allowed if it is possible to prove that the car with such tuning is fixed in the Period, otherwise the penalty is established at the rate of 3 penalty points for one integral element of tuning.
The maximum penalty is 10 penalty points.

2.3. Power unit and transmission.
2.4.1 The use of power units and transmissions that were not used during the Period is not allowed.
2.4.2. It is allowed to replace attachments (filters, carburetors, coils, wires, starters, etc.) with replacement parts.
2.4.3. It is allowed to replace the transmission elements with replacement parts.
2.4.4. Violation of the requirements of clauses 2.4.2., 2.4.3. penalized 1 penalty point for each unit.
2.4.5. The maximum penalty is 10 penalty points.

2.4. Salon, materials.
The interior of the car must fully correspond to the original in the Period. When restoring the non-metallic interior trim or seats, only replacement materials of the permitted type may be used.
Violation of this requirement is penalized by 1 penalty point for each unit.
Replacement of seats with non-original ones is penalized by 6 penalty points.
The maximum penalty is 10 penalty points.

2.5. Alarm, emergency and working lighting or mechanical equipment, reflectors, electrical equipment.
Replacement of each element of signaling, emergency and working lighting or mechanical equipment, reflectors, electrical equipment is allowed only if they fit into the space of the original element, repeat its contour, do not affect the silhouette of the vehicle and do not require changes in power and mounting. Each such change is penalized 0.5 penalty points.
Changing the onboard supply voltage relative to the original in the Period is not allowed.
It is allowed to replace batteries, fuses, lamps and electric wires with those available in the trade network without penalty, but not of worse quality.
The maximum penalty is 10 penalty points.

2.6. The presence of modification changes
No more than two modification changes are allowed, which do not affect the power, silhouette, livery of the car. Each modification change is penalized by 15 penalty points.
The maximum penalty is 30 penalty points.

3. Calculation of the results of the assessment of the vehicle

The results of the assessment of the technical condition are summarized by the technical commission for each of the items 2.1. - 2.6.
The general assessment of the technical condition is carried out according to the formula:
Ts = Sk + Ots
where:
Ots - total assessment of technical condition according to items 2.1.-2.6 and item 2.8. of this Regulation;
Sk - assessment of the age of the vehicle (p.2.7. Of this Regulation);
Ts - Assessment of technical condition in penalty seconds - is taken into account when determining the winner.
The maximum total penalty is 80 penalty points.
RACE
The races are held in the form of alternate races according to the class of cars in the FIVA category and the distribution of races in accordance with these Regulations (p.3.2.) For 16 cars with a double start in 20 seconds. The time is fixed for each pair at the start of the start-finish line. Races take place with a speed limit on the track: from 30 to 50 km / h, depending on the area and year of manufacture of the car. The route is provided with appropriate markings and speed control means.
Exceeding the speed by more than 15 km / h leads to the immediate exclusion of the offending vehicle from the competition.
PROCEDURE FOR ACCOUNTING PENALTIES. DISTRIBUTION OF SEATS
MAIN SCORE
4.6.1. The results of the assessment of the technical condition are calculated by the technical commission at the rate of a maximum of 10 penalty points for each element of the assessment (paragraphs 4.2.1 - 4.2.5) and 30 penalty points under paragraph 4.2.6. of these Regulations.
The maximum number of penalty points for the evaluation of the vehicle may not exceed 80.
4.6.2. The results of drivers in the race are determined by the order of crossing the timing line (control line), which coincides with the start line, taking into account the number of laps.
Seats are assigned to drivers who have covered at least 50% of the distance. Drivers who did not cover the entire distance, but were included in the test (more than 50% of the distance), are charged for each failed lap the maximum number of penalty points among other drivers who have completed the entire distance.
Estimated time for one lap with speed limits is 310 seconds (for cars up to 1945 and, according to the technical commission of the Organizer, for cars with low-power power unit - 370s).
For 4 laps - 1240 seconds (for cars up to 1945, and, for consideration by the technical commission of the Organizer, for cars with low-power power unit - 1480s)
For each second of deviation from the estimated time (in one direction or another) when crossing the finish line is 1 penalty point.
When passing one lap in less than 270 seconds (320 seconds for cars before 1945 and, according to the Organizer's technical commission, for cars with low-power power unit) the participant is immediately removed from the race and he is charged the maximum number of penalty points.
Traffic on the route is monitored at at least 10 points (speed control points) using GPS devices.
If the speeding speed recorded at the speed control point is exceeded, 0.1 penalty point is charged for each kilometer of speeding. If the speed exceeds 15 km / h, recorded at the speed control point, the participant (crew) is immediately removed from the race and he is charged the maximum number of penalty seconds.
False start is punishable by 3 penalty points.
